Ok, so you finally set up your Facebook Page or you have done it a while ago and now want to get it going. We have put together some tips to help you get your Facebook page moving.

Top Tips To Build Your Community On Facebook

  1. Provide Valuable Information

    What Are Your FAQ’s, What do people ask you when they pick up the phone? Talk about those things, this is what your potential customers want to know.

  2. Provide Discounts / Offers

    Use those to drive traffic to your website or directly into your store. If you want in-store footfall why not set up a mobile landing page with a coupon, they can use their phone to redeem the coupon and this will have a much higher redemption rate.

  3. Follow Others & Contribute To Discussions

    Don’t Spam, but add valuable information about discussions online. Use your knowledge of your products or your industry to answer questions & establish yourself as an expert.

  4. Run Competitions

    Make sure that you do this through Facebook Apps, not on your wall, or Facebook could should down your page. Drive traffic to your competition app  with targeted Facebook ads.

  5. Tell People About Your Page

    Make sure that you include your facebook page on every touch point with your customers – email, proposals, invoices, business cards.If you have an existing database of emails from customers, you can upload this into facebook and invite them to your page.

  6. Use Facebook Apps

    Expand the content on your page. Add in  a contact form, newsletter sign up, integrate your blog, reservations page, feedback/ review section. Keep people inside Facebook.

  7. Plan Your Activity & Schedule Posts

    Don’t just go to your computer on a Monday morning and think what am I going to post about today, you will pull your hair out! Think about what is going on in your business & what you want to achieve. Schedule posts for the week and build up content for later use.

  8. Plan For The Long Term

    You are building relationships and trust with your customers and potential customers. It doesn’t happen overnight but it can be very valuable to your business.
